Our Core Team
David’s role within Inspire is to drive the business forward. Apart from a Tuesday morning networking @BNICarnegie he is normally found managing client projects, attending conferences/seminars or writing web articles.
He has a unique background, with nine years’ experience in a range of web and IT roles plus seven years in sales and marketing in a blue-chip FMCG company. Prior to his MSc and co-founding Inspire, David worked for Scottish Brewers, now Heineken UK, and was for over seven years a successful sales manager. He also worked across the IT and project management functions for Norwich Union, Aviva and RAC-Auto Windscreens, delivering projects in a range of sizes.
David’s academic and professional qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business Economics (Personnel) from the University of Paisley, an MSc in Information Technology (Systems) from Heriot-Watt University and PRINCE2 Practitioner-level certification. He is also an active member of the British Computer Society.
Martin has a lot Business Analysis experience so is often involved early in our larger projects to make sure all requirements are fully explored and documented up front. He then sees them all the way though our development process to launch and provides ongoing support.
He manages a team of 5 developers, working closely with them to ensure that clients' websites exceed their expectations and are delivered on schedule.
Martin has an MSc Information Technology and a BAcc (Hons) Accountancy.
In his spare time Martin is currently spending too much time planning some home improvements and chasing after his slightly mad cat. He also enjoys playing poker when he gets a chance.
MatthewDigital Marketing Executive
Matthew is one of Inspire's Digital Marketeers who has experience coordinating marketing activities in Europe and beyond.
As you can expect Matthew's role is multitudinous, in that he is tasked with supporting the formulation of the digital strategy and implementing it.
You won't be able to find any kind of monotonous schedule at Inspire. On any given day he may manage clients local SEO, follow ups on delivery failures, change release management facilitations for open source based sites, client website edits, email campaign coordination's, the list goes on...
Out of office hours Matthew is a very active outdoors person spending his time mountain biking, snowboarding and climbing amongst other sports. He advocates healthy living is happy living and firmly believes life begins after your cup of tea in the morning.
Janet not only helps us with our Marketing but is on hand to assist our clients as well. With a range of practical strategies and solutions that won’t burst the piggy bank, Janet’s down to earth approach is suited to all types of business.
If it’s help you need with finding new clients and new markets, as well as resurrecting old ones, Janet is on hand. Janet can blend Content, Digital and Traditional marketing channels to provide the route to your business growth and success.
Janet spends her spare time walking Baxter, her terrier dog who is most of the time well behaved but when he's naughty he excels. She enjoys travels in her campervan and relaxing with a good book and a wee G&T.
Unlike many web design or marketing agencies, we do not run automated software and send you out a long technical Website Review Report on what you or indeed your last developer have missed.
