The Outcome

The launch of Tool Bazaar’s new Shopify store was an instant success. In the first two weeks alone, the site recorded 4,100 sessions and 3,837 unique visitors, with 17 orders placed soon after launch. Customers were quick to respond to the improved experience—browsing, buying, and returning more often.

The new system also made a big difference behind the scenes. Stock management is now automatic, and staff can easily track sales and inventory in real time. With online and in-store sales fully connected, day-to-day operations run more smoothly.

Beyond performance, the new website captures what Tool Bazaar stands for: tradition, craftsmanship, and community. It’s more than just an e-commerce site—it’s a digital showcase for a brand that has spent decades earning the trust of tool lovers around the world.

This project was a pleasure to work on. Seeing Tool Bazaar’s business thrive online while preserving its unique heritage shows what’s possible when good design meets the right technology. The result is a modern store built to last, ready to support their growth for years to come.

The Brief

Tool Bazaar approached Inspire to create a new e-commerce platform that was both functional and true to their brand identity. The goal was to build a modern online store that made buying antique tools as enjoyable as browsing them in person.

The main challenge was ensuring accuracy in stock control. Since every product was one of a kind, even the smallest error could cause confusion or lost sales. The transition had to be smooth, with no disruptions to existing customers or operations.

Key requirements

Migrate all data from Cubecart to Shopify with accurate stock management.
Create a clean, easy-to-navigate design that highlights Tool Bazaar’s heritage.
Build a mobile-friendly experience to reach a wider audience.
Integrate online and offline sales for consistent stock tracking.
Set up marketing tools such as email campaigns and social commerce to grow visibility.

What we did

We started by rebuilding Tool Bazaar’s online store from the ground up, moving everything to Shopify. This gave the team access to a stable and intuitive platform that simplified both the customer experience and the backend management process.

The new design was kept clean and classic, using warm tones and heritage-inspired details to echo the character of antique craftsmanship. Navigation was a major focus. We introduced breadcrumb links, related product suggestions, and easy filtering so customers could explore collections effortlessly.

Accuracy was crucial. During migration, we worked carefully to maintain product data and stock levels, ensuring that each unique tool was tracked properly. We also integrated Shopify’s point-of-sale system, allowing in-store and online sales to sync automatically.

To expand their reach, we launched an email marketing campaign, connected Google Shopping for product visibility, and set up social commerce integrations to help attract new customers through platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

The main actions we took

Migrated all products and stock data to Shopify with no errors.
Designed a user-friendly, heritage-inspired website.
Optimised the site for mobile and tablet shopping.
Connected online and in-store sales through Shopify’s POS system.
Launched marketing campaigns and integrated Google Shopping.
Updated branding, including a refreshed logo with the “est. 1990” mark.
