Select Scotland Tours offers tourists bespoke Scottish tours. In order to reassure site visitors that their experience will be top class, the website needed to match their expectations. Inspire were asked to create the website, including design, colour scheme and logo. As most of the site visitors would NOT be from Scotland and almost certainly doing some, if not all, of their browsing via a mobile device, we advised that an advanced mobile site would be an essential companion piece to the desktop version.
What We Did
Using our team of experienced and talented graphic designers, we created a logo with tag line that would be easily identifiable incorporating elements that visitors to Scotland expect but with a modern feel. The site colour scheme and layout also picked up on the traditional elements of the soft hues associated with the country without being too ‘tartan’ We helped the client choose the right images to represent the scope of their product and created a Gallery section to showcase to site visitors the range of options available. Calls to action are carefully placed throughout the site inviting client interaction and data collection without being annoyingly intrusive.
The site is still new to market and, as they say, the proof will be in the pudding. But to date the client has received many compliments about the professional look and feel that it gives to his company. The site responds well in both desktop and mobile version. He finds it straightforward to manage and we've been on hand since going live to assist with queries and help him fine tune the product
Unlike many web design or marketing agencies, we do not run automated software and send you out a long technical Website Review Report on what you or indeed your last developer have missed.
We recognise that the web is evolving at a tremendous pace, one real month is equal to one web year, so what was delivered just a few years ago, may very well be looking tired and dated.
