We are delighted to be recruiting to the role of Web Project Manager to join our growing Development team.  We are seeking a talented individual looking to take the next step in their career.  You should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a Digital Agency, managing multiple, complex projects in a client facing role.   

We are seeking a creative candidate who has the ability to support our clients by adding real value to their businesses through development of their online presence.   You should have the natural ability to develop passion and enthusiasm for the huge variety of clients you will be supporting on a day-to-day basis.  With the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a number of conflicting priorities in a deadline focused role, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with a globally based team.

The Opportunity

The Web Project Manager is responsible for ensuring web development projects meet client requirements and are delivered to time and budget.  They effectively develop project plans, co-ordinate development team members, enable effective communication and support the resolution of any issues which arise. They deliver a positive client experience throughout the project life cycle and proactively seek opportunities for feedback. 

 

experience requirements:

Essential

  • A minimum of two years’ relevant experience of managing multiple complex projects in a client facing environment 

  • A methodical, process driven project manager 

  • Experience of Business Analysis, writing project specifications and requirements; 

  • An understanding of technical development requirements, providing the ability to ‘translate’ to both clients and developer team.  

  • Experience of compiling reports to present business information that aids decision making 

  • A confident problem solver with a solution focused mindset 

  • Experience of working in web development/ digital industries 

  • A strong relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • A collaborative team player with experience of working in a remote-based organisation 

  • Experience of working with a CRM system, preferably Hubspot 

  • An ambassador for exceptional client service with experience of working with clients from a wide variety of sectors. 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the web eco-system including DNS, Web Servers, SMTP Relay  

  • Knowledge of front-end development languages  

  • Experience of working with a number of content management systems 

  • Experience of testing websites and systems and logging bugs to be fixed  

  • Experience of delivering and developing internal training materials 

  • Process improvement experience  

  • Experience of delivering business development activities  

  • Experience working with Open Project 

  • Experience of working with Xero 

education requirements:

A Business Management/ Project Management degree is preferred but not essential

  • Managing assigned projects to time and budget. 

  • Presenting creative solutions and strategies to new and existing clients 

  • Developing projects plans/ creative briefs and assigning tasks to development and design team members 

  • Updating departmental reports on project status 

  • Project financial management through Xero 

  • Actively resolve any client issues which arise  

  • Account management activities 

  • Client reviews  

  • Internal Project Debriefs. 

  • Update internal client CRM via Hubspot 

  • Ensure the effective flow of communication with other departments across the business 

  • Identify opportunities for increased business across current client base  

  • Monitor efficiencies of development team members to ensure projects are delivered to budget 

  • Client and internal training delivery  

  • Active participation in internal meetings, raising updates and issues as required  

  • Business development activities including attendance at networking events  

  • Support internal process mapping and optimisation activities. 

  • Support for wide Project Management team during periods of absence 

  • Use of AI where possible to support delivery

work hours:

40 hours per week, although consideration will be given to candidates seeking part-time hours covering a minimum of four days per week.  

Please note, occasional evening and weekend working may be required to meet the demands of the business and clients.
