Project Support Coordinator (remote)
employment type: FULL TIME
job location: Inspire Glasgow, Glasgow, G41 1EJ
range: £22,000 to £25,000 / YEAR
Employee can permanently work from home?: Yes
job description:

Project support officers provide vital assistance to project managers. These highly-organised, dynamic professionals work on important projects for all kinds of different organisations, from investment banks and I.T. consultancies to hospitals and local authorities.

As a project support officer, you won’t only perform routine administrative duties like minute taking – rather, your responsibilities will be inextricably tied to the success of the project you are working on. Driving everything forward from planning to implementation, your actions will directly influence the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the project.

Every project is different and therefore your duties will change accordingly. However, for the most part, you will be responsible for monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports, and liaising with key stakeholders.

As the project manager’s right hand, you will play an important role in project planning and risk and issue management. Moreover, you will log, manage and analyse information on the progress of the project, using Excel and other bespoke databases. You may even be responsible for managing lower-level administrative support staff.

Think of the role as a Junior Project Manager where you can learn on the job and progress to being a full Project or Account Manager over time.

Technical skills and experience in the web area are not essential but will certainly be looked upon as beneficial to your application.

This vacancy is ideally based in our Glasgow office but can be fully remote for the right person. Our offices are fully equipped with all the technology you’ll need to do an excellent job and we work hard to create a relaxed atmosphere where the employee comes first. The Glasgow office is located in the Media District in Kinning Park. There is plenty of free parking. The Glasgow building boasts an amazing garden roof terrace that you can use for breaks/lunch or (weather permitting) client meetings.
